The thing I love best about Scotland is going unshaved for a couple of days then feeling my whiskers catch against kilt fabric as I drag it across my face by a dewy glen.
Oh, and if it isn't too controversial in the household, drink a Guiness for me, will ya? God, I love the stuff you get over there as opposed to over here.
Wine is one of the best inspirations I know.
