Yes, it's voice post time again. We haven't done this for a while, but our Great Robin kicked off a little voice recording project a couple of years ago and Dr Paca has revived it. My little piece is below this message, more will be going up throughout Friday - I'll post some links later. Got the link now - thanks to the lovely Sylvia all the links can be found in one place - right here. I'll be listening to them all tomorrow.
Sit back and relax and listen to... Middle Class Mums (it's very short, I promise - 51 seconds to be exact - not a full story, just an excerpt).

Such deceptively dulcet tones. I laughed at the end. Those claws are so well hidden until they suddenly appear!
fish fingers or divorce....
I'd keep listening. Please do audio books please. Please.
OH, love it. FHH put it well, the claw coming out at the end.
I would have kept listening, too.
I Love doorstep jam sandwiches!
You really do have a wonderfully listenable-to voice.
I like the way it builds and would really love to hear more.
I've done one too. I get points right?
How can I add to the comments already posted? Love your accent (and your voice is really smooth).
I have to disagree with paca. Don't do audio books. I had to go through this three times before I paid ANY attention to the words. I just loved the sound of your voice...I was mesmerized. And I don't have time to listen to audio books three times through.
Well done, you!
Aerin, you may be right about McK and audio books. I much prefer the way she reads financial planning literature.
Yeah with the hidden claws!! Love it - and it also makes me think about you out on the sidewalk with the mums sometimes, and Princes and friends are runnin around and the Mums are gabbin on, and all the time the gabbin is goin on, our own McK is in the fray and yet an extraterrestrial anthropologist, listeniin in....
Perfect.
You hear a lot, a-dangling from the eucalypt, my friend.
LOL Paca and Aerin, and thank you all! (Um, thanks for bringing up that particular reading Paca, I think it was the moment that some more sensitive souls stopped visiting my blog...)
And, yes, if you've done this, add a point to June's tally. I'll put up the May stats soon, just want to leave this at the top for a day or so while everybody follows the links and listens.
A true silk covering over solid rock. Plus, I know those mums well -- and I don't even have kids ;o)
51 seconds?
Truly you are the Mistress of Abject Cruelty.
And I'm with Paca on the fish fingers and the divorce.
Oooh, such finely honed claws, so expertly applied!
