A little something to keep you busy

I found this quiz at Holly Lisle's site. 69 points for me - how about you? The discussion at the end is interesting, too.

73 points here. You and I aren't far off, McK! In my head I keep trying to mesh this quiz and Nathan's question about if a genie could tell whether you'd get published. Vedddddy interesting.

  2. Just 66 for me. Not sure what it means.

  3. 69 for me too - I would've answered the fone see. In my defence though it's usually the kids! I'm not a big fone gal at all, if it's ringing it's usually important, if it's not I hang up pretty sharpish. I do think I'd be a bit miffed if I went to lunch with a friend and and she/he brought a laptop and them proceeded to work while I chewed! But then again I really don't get out that much.

Isn't life supposed to be a balance or am I just kidding myself?

  4. I got (mumbles). Which is fine, of course, I knew that I was just dabbling in writing and I don't mind at all, really I don't, not one bit.

    Really.

Oh, you didn't hear what I said? I said "thirty". Well, at least I got more than ten. Maybe I should stick to reading.

  6. 63 here. Balance? What's that?

I think I would've scored higher if there was an option between C and D. I usually chose C because I wasn't really D but I was more than C.

But it all really doesn't matter. What matters is writing and improving my writing and NEVER giving up.

  7. Not sure if any of it is really meaningful, given that we all have radically different real life circumstances - which even Holly admits somewhere in the discussion.

I'd take it with a pinch of salt, especially fairyhedgehog!

LW, not sure why that happened. It's all working as far as I can see. Sorry :-(

  8. I scored a 68. I guess toilets aren't odd enough places? I have paper and pen in a basket by the toilet, with many of my writing books in the basket as well. My husband thinks I'm strange as hell.

Also - the family rule is - if I'm in the car with anyone and I say "Wait" - there is no talking - and I mean - NO talking - until my paper and pen come out of my bag and I've written down the phrase or idea that's just bubbled up.

    So - I'm good with a 68.

  9. I'm hoping you mean when you're a passenger in a car, Robin.

When I first read your comment I had visions of you driving...

  11. laughingwolf, click on the word "quiz" in McK's post. It's hard to see that it's a link, but it's gray and bold. That should get you there.

  12. Hey FH, sometimes I am driving - but I repeat what I wanna write- to myself- until I reach a light or a stop sign - or I pull over. (Usually!)

  13. It's that word 'usually' that worries me!

also, i've been writing, off and on, for the better part of 20 years, so it's not like much of it is new to me
