A Koala Reads Ril

Thank you for your patience, and taran tara, here is the McKoala version of Ril's beautiful extract.

Oh, that's wonderful, McK. You really brought it to life. I felt I was listening to Radio 4 there.

How weird is it, hearing someone else reading your words...?! It's like suddenly they're not your own anymore...

Um, can I have your voice? Gosh, it's so beautiful! Definitely worth the wait. Great, great job. And love ril's passage.

Yes — this is great.

What's good about Ril is the way he blends description with the inner POV of his characters so seamlessly, so Mck had plenty to get her marsupial gnashers into, here — leastaways, that's what I presume they're called. Flippers? Anyhow — brilliantly read.

Seriously, quite nice.

Ril - your writing is just so easy on the ear - especially the way that McK delivers it. Matt's got himself in a lot of trouble here. I feel so sorry for him and at the same time I want to smack him for being so thick!

McK - beautifully read. You have a wonderful storyteller's voice. Could you do a Book at Bedtime reading sometime? Rado 4 would definitely benefit from your dulcet tones!

Ah, Janey, reading the Book at Bedtime. What an awesome way to make a living. Book me in.

This had a beautiful lightness of touch to the reading which really helped me appreciate the story. Great stuff!
