You bloodthirsty lot...

I'm amazed (and pleased) by the great sign up for the Koala Challenge this year. (For more details see the post below - sign up at any time until the end of this month - either in the comment trail below, or in this one, I'll check both).

For mutual support, and any necessary teasing, I'll link to you all in the side bar. Support is encouraged. Teasing is even more encouraged. If you have more than one blog, please let me know which one you would like me to link to (Iasa, for example...you have heaps of blogs!).

It's too late to enter Clarity of Night, but the entries are all up for reading - check it out here. You'll see some familiar names. I'm 180, under my secret identity. The one without claws. Burn this post after reading...

I am suddenly frightened by the Koala. Very, very frightened.

I'm hoping that the stories about how slowly they move are true. And installing a eucalyptus by the door.

I've got a eucalyptus next to the garage. Not sure it's of the Koala edible variety.

Love the new badges! That goblin does amazing work.

Short Stuff blog please, Mistress.

There's a great selection of writers here.

I'm sure we're all going to have bundles of fun writhing around in each other's entrails...

Ooooh. Entrail writhing?

2010 is going to be an awesome year!

Whaaa! 4000 words would only earn me 1 point and I'll still be deadly close to being smacked down!

Must search for some kinda excuse that might melt Koala's heart? But I wonder, if such a thing exists?

My 'Okay. I'm Ready to Go' blog is a fine place to find me. It's in hiatus mode at the moment, but comments are emailed to me, so I'll see ya if you pop a comment on there.

However, I plan on staying up towards the top of the points, come hell or high water, honey. Plus, I LOVE the new badges! Go, JJ! (And the Koala, of course!)

I'm with Sarah: When can we start the entrail writhing?!

Ta to everyone who likes the badges. Goblin blushes green with pleasure.

PS - Tell that alter ego of yours she's super-talented, would ya? Awesome entry in the Clarity of Night contest!

Entrail writhing sounds slippery.

Um...
I think you signed me up, because I wouldn't do this on my own.
:-)

AHAHAHAHAH... Bring it on! Sounds like fun, watching others get a smackdown.

The typepad blog for me, please.

I have to get 4600 words written in a week. (Yes, i wrote yesterday and cut 600 words.)

McKoala said...

Watch out Laurel. Some koalas dart with astonishing speed.

Sarah, yum. I'm willing to try.

Aniket, try more writing... You submitted to Clarity of Night - that gets you a submission point as well.

Wyrdd, I'm understanding about cutting - if you feel that you edited/rewrote/significantly improved a passage or chapter by cutting those words etc., then you can count the words arount it. That's why the initial target is high; to allow for this.

Now that I've met the toenail extractor, I'm considering a blog in a galaxy far, far away...

If I'm havin' a bad month can I save my skin by slipping you a eucalyptus donut?

:)

Thank you! You are most generous!

And thank you for finally showing your other identity (Honestly, I was still only 98% sure, she was you. 2% I thought she was your identical nicer sister.) :D

Oh and love the badges.
Especially the Smackdown one. ;) ;)

Hello, McK! I found you through the Goblin. I've been waffling all week about this, but after the fun we've all had over at Clarity of Night, I want to join in. Sign me up for the challenge, please.
