A victim says...

"Missing toenails? Please, it took the doctors three hours to shove back in my intestines and stitch me up... nobody told me the goblin eviscerated people, too!!! I know, I know... I'll go humble myself before the koala soon... haven't been able to keep up on the writing deadlines."

*shudder*

Peering down your sidebar, I noticed Ender's Game on your list. Love that book. I also recommend Speaker for the Dead - the second in that series. Deals with adult themes (as it extermination of an entire race is not an adult theme). I don't so much rec the third one - drowns in philosophy for me. There are other offshoots in the series that are good, too.

But seriously - The Hunger Games? Read it soon!!!

Have you read Going Bovine (Libba Bray)? I'm about to start Beauty Queens.

Well, hell, that wasn't exactly the way I wanted to be quoted...

Somebody hand me some sparkly creative juice or something to boost me up for next month...

What do you mean I have to sit my ass in the chair and work just like everybody else?

Ha, Merry you outed yourself!

Good Goblin.

Sarah, yes would like to read Speaker for the Dead - I've now read all of the Hunger Game trilogy, must delete them from the TBR list - loved the first, loved the second almost as much, slightly disappointed in the third unfortunately.

Yes. That about sums up the Hunger Games trilogy. The third book is very different than the other two.
