Koala challengees

I haven't had time to cruise the blogs this week, so please report in here with your wordcounts for last week and I will dole out appropriate rewards and punishments.

Thank you for your honesty (at least I hope I can thank you for that...)

After my brush with the clacking claws of fate, I was sure to log everything I did this week.

I did quite a bit of rewriting and editing of my NaNo project as I have a character who decided she wanted a bigger piece of the novel pie. She kinda scares me. Because of her I killed off one of my main characters a lot sooner than I wanted. And in front of his daughter to boot. Yeah, she's gonna be a handful, I can tell. If you count in all that rewriting, I averaged 596 words a day.

But if you only count what I've posted, or consider final, I averaged a measley 158 words a day.

Oh well. At least it keeps me safe and relatively scar free for another week. Woot!

Lets just agree to write last week off.

I've edited 2500 words yesterday and 800 today. I have another 500 to go and then I'm done with this section - hurray!

I'm very very very very very very very sick of faeries.

I agree with Sylvia about last week, and then I did write about 900 words yesterday.

I'm depressed. While I didn't join in the claw threat "fun" I have been actually working (more or less) on the wip of choice. However I came to the depressing realization that my writing is crappe--like a frappe with all the whipped goodness but made of less-than-savory elements.

This too shall pass, but I really hate it when I hit a funk like that. We all do; but I am going to roll around in my self pity for a while before I bootstrap myself and get back to work.

Probably it's having the migraine cycle come back. Even with meds to keep it mostly normal, it gets me.

Now that I've pissed and moaned, I shall go back to what ostensibly is work.

Three votes makes it official: Last week did not exist.

After my marathon 6000+ word plot map I just lost the will...

Get your claws out...

Oh last week didn't exist? Ummmm…I didn't say anything…

That sounds good to me as I took a few days off.

All right you smugly things. Last week was a week off. Apart from the good people, who wrote. You still get the kudos and any appropriate upgrades. Or to claim this week off instead.

Watch out when I get my eyes back, though.

Nice groveling, Goblin. Very nice.

Just saw this post. Sorry to bne late chiming in.

I had a weird week - edited out an ENTIRE chapter of my novel when it occurred to me that, without it, the novel flowed just fine.

I'm gonna be tweaking and working on two other chapters that I like, to make them standalone short stories as well, so they can go forth and seek publication in lit mags.
