The torture continues...

...cooling off was extended, because buyers had not got formal approval of their finance. We didn't have much choice, but torture! Now have to wait until at least Wednesday, possibly Friday. Sooooo frustrating. What's more I didn't get that perfect job, snarl. Turns out there was somebody even more perfect out there, tarnation. So Friday was not quite the best day ever. However, we had a pretty good weekend and tomorrow is another day...

Ack! Squawking in indignation for you!

But you needed the job if you had two eucalypts, yes? And now you (hopefully) will only have one and you can spend your leisure time keeping up with the rest of us in your pack of writers, yes?

It'll all work out, I'm sure of it.

Am editing my little butt off, have written some new words and am fixing the geographic issues in Garlic. Lots of words flying in and out of manuscripts. I think it's a virtual wash. Took out 4 chapters and am adding 2 back in. Edited 15 chapters in another ms and have written part of a new chapter.

Two more kittens go to their new homes today. *sniff* The last two will be with us until next weekend, then they're gone as well. All have new homes. *sniff sniff*

I'll cross my mental fingers for you, McK. For their finances being good enough. Let us know.

It's no fun when you're juggling dual balls as the tracectory of one sometimes intrudes on the other.

Hang on in there...

Argh! Fingers crossed for you. The waiting is the hardest part.

And clearly there was NOT someone more perfect, simply that the job was not perfect enough for you!

Thanks for the squawk, Wyrdd! There's been a lot of that going on here.

Yes, Sarah, the job is less imperative if we only have one eucalypt, but even so it would be handy even just for a year or so, to take some of the initial pain out of the mortgage and give us a bit of a life. But I may look at getting more freelance work, rather than work bondage. Good writing!

Thanks Robin, WO and Sylvia!

And Aniket...koala purrrr!

How's it going with this? It's Wed afternoon my time, so I think this makes it 'you're not up yet because it's way too early Thursday morning' - hoping there's good news when you get on into Thursday.

Nope. Extended until Friday afternoon...

Thanks for thinking of us!
