Still knee-deep in boxes!

And I started work - did I mention that? I managed to find a part-time marketing job, locally, so I can do three days a week and with the help of Grandma and Mr Koala minimise the impact on the little koalas. So I'm learning my way around a new house and a new job all at the same time, there's nothing like a little challenge. I'll probably be dropping in and out for the next couple of weeks while I master the new schedules, but if any one in the challenge attempts to take advantage of that...snarl...

Perhaps you need a deputy Koala?

Good luck with the house and the job! There's nothing like pacing yourself...

So many changes, so little time. Hope you land on your feet and get it all running smoothly soon.

I'll be checking in here soon.

Wow- neness double-whammy - but sounds like all will be splendid in the end!

Moving, always horrible, always a good thing when you're finally into that new, clean, organized space. Hope it doesn't take too long to get to that point!

Hm, Goblin Claws. Are you volunteering?!

Thank you all, I'm happy, just busy! There's some adjustment needed for the Little Koalas, so I'm adding being Supermum to my list of activities. They're doing great, actually, and even enjoy being dropped at school early - but I'd imagine there may be a backlash from Princess once the 'newness' of being abandoned in the playground wears off a little.

I fear I might be too enthusiastic with the toenail-pincers, but if the Koala needs a break, the Goblin could certainly step in for a while! Simply ask, if you need a breather.

Knee-deep in boxes?

I bet you wear them with style...

Checking in - for both the koala and the goblin.

Wrote a new poem - very short - like 40 words. Wrote two new chapters that need fleshed out better - used some of old stuff from the four chapters I ripped out. New words here? Um, about 700, with the new chapters currently being about 1200 total. Edited the synopsis - which is down to 1419 words. Did some spot editing in a couple of other chapters.

Hope you are getting all settled in... I don't know if you are into these things but I have given you a blog award and tagged you on a meme - visit my blog for more info!

I hope you are coping with it all! Busy times.

I'm back on a good wordcount track after a fortnight of radio silence.

Don't even ask about my mothering though. Good thing no one is tracking that as I'm at my wits end!

Quick check in:
Last week I wrote 420 new words and edited 15 chapters. More editing to be done this week - eventually.

I'm with paca, McK. It's weird in a bad, bad way without you around!

Still breathing (and quizzing), but school holidays are cutting back time even more. Hang on for one more week, then I hope to be back in action! Itching to get back to editing WiW, but waiting until I can get a good run at it.
