*unsheathes claws*

Thank you so much for the kind messages re. the house sale! You would have given me the warm and fuzzies if I weren't so warm and fuzzy already.

But now...back to business...I'll be checking your stats soon...probably tomorrow...my time...you have been warned...

updated to add...today has been unexpectedly manic so enjoy 24 more hours to make up those numbers...

Um stats. Yeah, hm. I've got a bit of a problem there as I've lost track of where I was. No idea of new word count. I have worked on two manuscripts and done some editing - at least 16 chapters in the one. I wrote a few new words in the same one, maybe a paragraph. I polished up the pitch for that one, too.

This coming weekend will also be a disaster as far as keeping track is concerned. It's my critique retreat weekend. So I'll be writing and rewriting and critiquing and working on whatever exercises they come up with. And I'll be clueless about word count.

I plan on editing more in the other ms and hopefully will finish up that first person chageover this month.

I've been good. Went through 4100 word chapter today, and turned it into a 3650-ish word chapter. Going back later this afternoon to spend time with the next chapter. Also spending time with 3 very short stories - prob 2500 words combined - over the next few days - honing them down so I can send them out.

Be merciful, oh fuzzy one!

Clueless - but I wrote and edited 6 chapters which is somewhere in the region of 13K+ words.

Congrats on the sale of eucalupt 1

Due to an unfortunate and almost devastating personal identity theft incident, all of my updates are now fully password protected. To the unsuspecting identity thief, it appears that I haven't updated anything since May. But I'll give you the password so you can verify that I'm up to date. The password is: **********

Just don't give it out to anyone else.
