Koala disaster!

I lost the challenge sidebar and all the links! Luckily for some, and unluckily for others, I had just completed a check of, um, most of you. If I missed you, please let me know. And, not to worry BT, I remembered exactly where you were...

I'll gussy it up another day. Right now, I'm off to hang up the washing, and then...do some writing! Watch this space for some actual wordage bragging shortly.

Updated to add...bragging. Sat down to write 500 words for Writtenwyrrd's contest and came up with...1493. Heh heh. I'm guessing that's too much, but, hey, I'm back in the saddle! Now all I need is another idea that will only come to 500 words...

By the way, am listening to Empire of the Sun. Awesome stuff. Takes me right back to the 80s. David Sylvian eat your heart out.

Badges can be re-swiped off my blog sidebar, if you need those files again.

I was so hoping you'd tell me something like that! Mwah!

Oh no. I think. Seems I've moved up from the permanent Moderate Threat level.

So, yeah, did the writing field trip and not sure how to count words. Have three new poems that are complete (166 words), one poem in progress (40 words), and several paragraphs of writing exercises (unk words).

Usual writing time this week went to making a baby quilt.

Kudos on your awesome wordage!

Wow, word godddess!! Yesterday I edited two flash fiction pieces and sent out into the world. Last week I reconfigured two chapters to make them standalone stories and sent them to a lit mag contest.

This week, I'm gonna slowly be slogging through two middle chapters that are giving me fits - working to edit them down.

I'd be in the Permanently Maimed by Koala Claws level had I signed up for the abuse, erm, encouraging claws of enlightenment.

If you trim your 1400 words you could submit today's work.

Okay, I see what's going on here. I, like many here, don't update my word count on my blog. But my sin is that I don't update you and/or grovel for mercy via a comment on a random koala post. So here's my update: Last week I wrote lots. I haven't counted up the words yet, but if I had to guess I would say it was extra-lots. In addition to writing extra-lots of words, I also wrote several checks, one of them, in my opinion, was more than generous enough to get me out of Supersmackdown territory, but apparently it hasn't reached its destination yet.

I wrote 2,500 words today which covers me for the month previous, right? :D

My average is good and I should complete my 10k goal this week if I don't panic. I've not *actually* written 100 words every day but I will now that I know you are watching. :P

Yep, BT. It's about that begging for mercy thang, honey.

I wanna watch that. You and McK. I'm smiling just thinking about it!

'Lost in the post' cuts no ice with The Koala. Her claws, however, can cut anything.

Did you lose your teeth along with your sidebar?

And that whippy slingshot boomerang thing that can have a man's bollocks off at fifty paces (and permanently graft them to the face of any unfortunate females gathered to witness the spectacle)?

I couldn't crack 500 for Written's horror fest.

But, elsewhere, in limbo, the word count mounteth — like Princess Anne on a horse.

McKoala Sweetie, check my blog. You won somethin'.

Hey Written - I'd write something horrible for your contest but I'm so close to the end of my WIP I can taste it. Have fun with it!
