yes, yes, I'm a slacker

phew, tg I've got that whole savage beast challenge things to make sure I at least send off a submission before the end of the month. Also feeling slight twinges of creativity in my little toe, so I'm guessing they'll work their way upwards and reach my brain eventually and I'll be writing up a storm. I hope. Maybe even visiting some blogs too *slinks off guiltily*.

Hey, girl, mind pauses are important. I really believe that - especially when you're the kind of person who's been...oh, I don't know...writing up a storm and finishing novels up and sending them out into the world and selling and buying a house and raising two kids and going to Kiltland and having a volcano and other things happening...Good Lord - THAT sounds like a novel!

That said, glad you're now having a tingly toe.

When Robin spells it out like that I have to admit that maybe you have got a teensy, tiny, flimsy, little excuse for needing a break.

I hope the toe tingle reaches your brain at a good time!

There once was a fearsome koala,

Koalas are more frightening when you can't see them. Like drop bears.

Also, Whirl is brilliant.

I've been in that mode myself. The creativity urge, however, seems to be lodged in my butt, and the itch is (ironically enough) making it tough to actually sit down and do something about it. That and sitting for long at my desk makes my back cranky. (But that wouldn't stop me if I could get my head in the game.)
