Reclaim your Right to Wallow!

Did Worldwide Wallow Day go wrong for you? Kids fell sick, family intervened, didn't visit the blog until it was too late (naughty, naughty)?

Reclaim the Wallow!

All Wallows must add up to a full day, which in my calculation means 16 hours of bliss. I lost my evening thanks to Family Event, so tonight as of 6pm I will be resuming the sofa and recommencing the Wallow from the precise point where I was cruelly forced to leave it.

The calorie rule still works.

OK- girl- I wallowed all freakin' day long at work-at least when I wasn't workin' I did.

But you know, since I was workin', I'm not sure that really counted for the full version of what Welsh Boy (my husband - I would say he's the British version of Peter Pan but, oh yeah, Petey is a Brit) said was enough when he said, with a smirk, "Rob, that's your lot".

Uh, no, blue-eyed boy-oh, I don't think so.

Sooooo....I'm getting ready to write (yet another) scene with yours truly and EE - I consider that wallowing, in the fantasy sense.

And then tomorrow, I'm gonna wallow myself on over to Chris's blog and wrote and post my chapter/pretend short story. And I'm not doing any dishes, housework or errands on the way over. So there. Ha! I consider that a big wallow.

That, and it's after eleven pm here and I've worn out DH so that he's passed out like Christ crucified in the bed (but with a very self-satisfied smile on his face) and I'm getting ready to write.

Life is wallowing good right now over here, McK. Hope yours is as well. Because it's supposed to be about you, honey.

Well, I haven't been participating, but I celebrate your wallow.

Wallow on, Robin!

I'm in mid-time-adjusted evening wallow; aaaah joy. Are you feeling our bliss, 'true?

Good thing! Because I'm not done ignoring my kids and ingesting calorie-free junk food.

:-)

Go Robin!!!! YAY!

Thanks, Chris!

So, McK, how did you wallow continuation go? Any progress?

Oh, I can't believe I forgot to tell you, McK --

In honor of you and your Wallow Day, I popped a "wallow big" in my writing exercise this weekend, on EE's blog, using my formulaic approach to almost any of HRH's writing subjects, of course, because if I couldn't do that, I couldn't wallow in the fun of his blog, as I'm salving away here on my laptop- finishing my second draft.

Saturday night's extended wallow went precisely as planned; the headache on Sunday morning wasn't quite so much fun, though... May have overwallowed in the wine bottle.

Will check out EE...
